sleep studies are covered by insurance. Please contact Sleep Care

Is Sleep Care Solutions a participating provider with my
insurance company? Sleep Care Solutions is a contracted provider for
many insurance companies in South Florida. To determine if we are
contracted with your insurance company and your specific plan, simply
contact us (info@sleepcaresolutions.com
or call 305-666-8800), or ask your physicians office to contact us on
your behalf. Even if we are not contracted with your insurance company,
many insurance plans offer "out-of-network" benefits to allow you to

Can I have a sleep study done on a weekend since I work
during the week? Absolutely, many people prefer to have their studies
performed on the weekend. However, due to availability, week-end
scheduling may take longer.

How often should a sleep study be done? Most insurance
companies allow for a sleep study to be performed every six (6) months.
To determine if you qualify, visit your Primary Care Physician and
discuss your symptoms. It may be helpful to take our sleep quiz, print a
copy and take it with you to your physician. If appropriate, they will
make all of the necessary arrangements for you.

How do I schedule a sleep study? Sleep studies must be
prescribed by a doctor. To have a sleep study scheduled, discuss your
symptoms (it may be helpful to take our
sleep quiz,
print a copy and take it with you to your physician) ask your doctor to
fax your demographic information and a prescription to 305-666-8801.

Who should refer me for a sleep study? In order to have
a sleep study, you must have a prescription from your Physician. Any
licensed doctor can give you a prescription, if you get the prescription
on a form, call us directly at 305-666-8800, and we will make all of the
necessary arrangements.

Can I bring someone with me? You may bring someone to
assist you, however, that person may not stay overnight. The only time
someone may stay in the room overnight is when it is medically
necessary. Your doctor will need to confirm that it is medically
necessary for the person to stay with you to assist you overnight. This
is a very rare and an exception for special circumstances only.

What is a CPAP? CPAP stands for Continuous Positive Air
Pressure. It is a small device that sits on your night stand and blows a
pre-determined of filtered room air into a mask that you wear while you
sleep. It is completely safe and harmless. For more detailed information

Will my insurance cover a CPAP? In most cases, insurance
does cover all or most of the costs associated with CPAP therapy. Please
speak with a dream team member to determine the level of coverage for
your specific benefits.

How do I get new supplies for my CPAP? Most insurance
companies routinely allow for new filters and tubing every month. They
allow for a new mask every 3 months. Sleep Care Solutions will
automatically send you these supplies on a regular basis, as allowed by
your insurance company. Check out our

Who will teach me how to use my CPAP? The technician
who performs your test will initially teach you the proper use and care
of your CPAP. If you experience problems or trouble in using your CPAP,
you can schedule time for additional training. Telephone support is

How often can I get a new mask or change the type of mask I am using?
Although most insurance companies allow for a new mask every (3) three
months, special arrangements can be made to replace the mask sooner.

What is OSA and what are the signs and symptoms? OSA is
an abbreviation for Obstructive Sleep Apnea. Sleep Apnea is a serious,
potentially life threatening breathing disorder which affects 20 million
Americans. Apnea, is when a person stops breathing, during sleep, often
hundreds of times each night, causing a lack of blood oxygen and
